In a dog kennel! A mischievous mongrel wrecks her owner’s house after he pops out for hours and leaves her alone, tearing up a plant, covering the carpet with dirt and chewing on knick-knacks.
- Sam Roberts, 30, a truck mechanic from north Wales, left Nellie for a few hours.
- When he returned home, he was shocked by the carnage that the dog made.
- She managed to fill the carpet with earth, chew knick-knacks and eat plants.
- But he saw the funny side and said that at least the mutt had enjoyed it.
The man told how his mischievous pooch trashed his house after he jumped out, leaving her at home alone.
Sam Roberts, 30, from Conwy, North Wales, says he only left his Great Dane Nellie alone for a few hours.
But when he returned home, he found that in his absence she had left a trail of destruction.
According to the HGV mechanic, Nellie covered the cream carpet with earth, tearing the plant up and overturning the pot.
In addition, she chewed on a few trinkets scattered around the room along with the leaves of the destroyed plant.
10-month-old German dog Nelly looked embarrassed after tearing down her house while owner Sam Roberts left her for hours.
The dog had time to cover the cream carpet with earth, uprooting the plant and overturning the pot, chewing on a few knick-knacks and removing the sofa cushion she was sitting on.
The 10-month-old pup also managed to knock over the sofa cushion she was proudly sitting on when a shocked Sam came home.
In the words of the 30-year-old: “We left Nelly alone for a couple of hours.
“To put it mildly, she was having fun.”
He added, “To be honest, we were so shocked that we just laughed.
“We left her for quite a bit, four hours, and she’s good as gold, and last Saturday we left her for three hours, and that’s what happened.”
Luckily, Sam saw the fun side and found it easy enough to clean up.
While cleaning up the carnage, he wrote Nelly’s name on the ground and took a picture.
After the room was restored to its original state, Sam took another shot of the shy dog sitting on the couch.
Images of the slaughter show chewed toys, as well as a destroyed plant pot and objects strewn across the floor.
Nellie isn’t the only Great Dane to destroy a room, and other dog owners have shared their stories of “atomic poop” and “house tornadoes.”
One woman said, “Been there, doing it, and after it was completely destroyed, he had absolutely atomic shit all over the house.”
“One look at his adorable face and everything was forgiven, I completely hugged his giant paws.”
Another added: “I’m so glad she’s ok and survived the house tornado.”
A third said: “Obviously, all the damage was done by this lampshade/cone.
“Great cleaning job! Glad to see the sofa and carpet are in such good condition!”
