Is love blind or blurry? As Netflix’s Love Is Blind Season 2 draws to a close, eager fans won’t have to wait long for more pod dates and plenty of drama.
“Yes, we have already shot the third season,” the creator of the show. Chris Coelen told British Metro in February 2022. “Each season is completely unique. The third season is very different from the first or second season.”
The Netflix reality show debuted in February 2020, where viewers saw the likes of Amber Pike as well as Matt Barnett as well as Lauren Speed as well as Cameron Hamilton both find love invisible. There were also two couples in the second season – Daniel Rule as well as Nick Thompson as well as Ianna McNeely as well as Jarett Jonesrespectively – to tie the knot after the expiration of the experiment.
“The amazing thing is that they really, really embraced the experimental aspect of it,” Coelen told Metro of the show’s level of success. “We always say that this is an experiment first, and then a TV show. It looks like the TV show is documenting the experiment. When you get to the day of the wedding – I’ve been there for every wedding – they’ve all accepted the idea that they’re there with the same intent, which is that they’re interested in finding love and finding someone to whom you can marry, whom you can devote yourself to, for something else. for the rest of your life.”
Season 3, filmed shortly after the first two seasons, should follow the same process as a new group of singles sweep the groups in an attempt to find their perfect match.
“It’s Fascinating” – Show Co-host Nick Lachey told Us Weekly exclusively ahead of the premiere of the second season of the Netflix series. “Especially seeing the success of the first season and seeing how two loving couples are still married to this day? If I was watching this and looking for love, why don’t you be a part of it? You know, it’s proven to work!”
98 Degrees singer who married co-host Vanessa Lachey in July 2011, he once again explained why the idea of a reality show was so intriguing.
“I’ve never been a part of this dating world – it’s a very superficial ‘swipe left’. There are so many judgments out there and you can google them all. I’m not from that era,” the Masked Singer alum told us. “Everything starts with communication. [Vanessa] and I had a really emotional connection before we were together a lot… that’s why we loved this show.”
He teased, “It’s so cool to see it work again and again in a different way. No two seasons are the same.”
In addition to trying to prove if love really is blind on the Netflix reality show, Lachey and Coelen also teamed up for “Ultimatum: Get Married or Move On.” Premiering on the streaming platform in April 2022, the six couples will have the chance to find out if they’re ready to marry their longtime partner or if they’d rather go their separate ways.
Both seasons of Love Is Blind are now streaming on Netflix.
