In a tweet last week, Sean described how the cars were filled with women and children whose only value was the car they rode in.

Sharing a photo dragging a sealed suitcase, Sean wrote: “Me and two of my colleagues walked several miles to the Polish border, leaving the car on the side of the road.
“Almost all of the cars in this photo are carrying only women and children, most without any sign of luggage, and the car is their only value.”
Sean has been filming a documentary about the escalating tensions in Ukraine since November last year.
Sean, meanwhile, called Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine a “gross mistake.”

Penn flew to the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and was seen sitting in the center of the government press at a press briefing just hours after the invasion began, presenting VICE in a documentary about the war, which Putin called a “special military operation.”
The documentary was produced by VICE Studios “in collaboration with VICE World News and Endeavor Content,” according to a spokesman for the media group.
His view: Penn said, “Ukraine is the spearhead for the democratic embrace of the dream,” adding, “If we let it fight alone, our soul as America will be lost.”
