Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam star is in theaters. Contrasting with his image, Prabhas played a romantic role in an epic love story and also shared screen space with his fagot-grandmother “Rebel Star” Krishnam Raju.
The senior actor’s daughter Prasidha made her debut as a co-producer. So for Krishnam Raju it was a double joy.
He played the role of Paramahamsa, a famous astrologer.
“I liked the story and my role. Paramahamsa is similar to Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Swami Vivekananda. I liked playing it. In one of his interviews, Prabhas said he was stunned to see me in this outfit. He thought I looked like God. It was the best compliment,” said Krishnam Raju.
Speaking about the film’s production delay, Krishnam Raju added that Prabhas would make sure to release two releases a year.
“The production of Radhe Shyam has been delayed due to the COVID19 crisis. But now you will see Prabhas on screen more often,” he added.
Krishnam Raju said he would like to see Prabhas in a remake of Manavori Pandavulu. It was one of the memorable hits in the senior actor’s career. He also mentioned that Varsham is his favorite Prabhas film.
He didn’t miss answering the oft-repeated question about Prabhas’ marriage.
“I would like him to get married as soon as possible. I want to play with his son or daughter, he hoped.
