In an interview with SFX magazine, actress Iman Vellani responded to fans’ criticism of Kamala Khan’s transition to power in Ms. Miracle.

“I’m very possessive of Kamala. I think we stayed true to what the comics brought us. The themes were always about identity and fitting in with the 50 million things that make Kamala who she is.”
“From my understanding, as long as she continues on this journey of selfdiscovery, she could shoot sausages out of your fingers.”
After Mrs. Marvel, Iman Vellani will also appear as Kamala Khan in The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel.
MS. Marvel will be released on Disney+ on June 8, 2022.
