“It was a decision that had been considered for years, since 2018, when I took a leave of absence, I lived in Switzerland for a few months,” explains the now former Globo journalist. Then Michelle explained that there are horizons beyond the network she wanted to explore.

“It broadened my horizons. I have returned, I have already started my law studies, which I will graduate this year. This was also something I had wanted to do for a long time. Analyzing social networks, the internet, new channels, anything new that pops up, I realized that there is a huge horizon to explore that I am very interested in. And I also analyzed that I had already finished my cycle, 12 years there, I learned a lot. I’m very grateful to all the people who were part of this story of my life and who taught me to be a better professional,” she said.

Although Michelle Barros had many ideas in her head, she decided to keep them a secret for now. Because of that, she just stated that she has a lot of projects in the oven. “I say that I have great friends there at Globo and they are part of my family. I’ve spent the weekend answering messages… Huge gratitude to all these people. So, I’m concentrating on these new goals, right… Work with communication content too, later, talk a little bit about our rights, our rights, even as a woman. I’m very happy, challenged,” said the former Globo.
