Léa’s film The Story of My Wife is based on the 1942 novel of the same name by Milán Füst.
The novel was first published in Hungary in 1942 but was not translated into English until the late 1980s.
The story takes place in the 1920s and sea captain Jakob Storr (Gijs Naber) makes a bet with a friend that he will marry the first woman to enter the café they are sitting in – just as the main character Lizzy arrives.
Last year, the film had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in July, which was attended by numerous stars.

The strip was released in Hungary, Germany and Italy last year and in France this year.
It comes after James Bond star Léa accompanied French actor Gaspard Ulliel’s grieving partner and five-year-old son to his funeral in Paris in January, days after he died in a skiing accident.
Gaspard, who gained international attention for his portrayal of the young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising, died on January 19 at the age of 37 after suffering a severe blow to the head while skiing in the Alps.
The father-of-one, who was also the face of Chanel men’s fragrance Bleu de Chanel, was not wearing a helmet when he crashed into another skier at the intersection of two blue slopes at the Rosiere resort in Savoie, France.
