On her travels through time and space, she has met many a famous friend – but never with a tot in tow.

But Jodie Whittaker still made time for a royal date with The Crown star Claire Foy on an outing with her new baby.

The 39-year-old Doctor Who actress was first spotted with her newborn while enjoying coffee with Miss Foy.

Miss Whittaker, who already has a daughter with her actor husband Christian Contreras, looked relaxed and chatty as the baby curled up in a sling on her chest.

And the actresses – who starred in 2011 drama The Night Watch – traded their red carpet glamor for jeans and flats when they met in north London.

Miss Whittaker has not confirmed the baby’s gender or date of birth, but did announce she was “happily and healthily” pregnant in February.

She is expected to have more time for her second child once she makes her final appearance as the Doctor this fall – replaced by Ncuti Gatwa.

The Broadchurch star confirmed she was pregnant with her second child in February after sparking speculation on the Brits red carpet.

She was pictured clutching her blooming baby bump in a tailored billowy dress.

Clothing brand Cimone said her look was “specifically created to accommodate her pregnancy.”

Miss Whittaker made history as the first female doctor when she replaced Peter Capaldi in 2017.

Her final adventure in the role will be broadcast this autumn as a one-off special as part of the BBC’s centenary celebrations.
