First pictures of Brynne Edelsten’s baby daughter Starr as her mother travels from Arizona to meet her granddaughter for the first time
Brynne Edelsten’s mother Mariel Gordon has met her granddaughter Starr Amari Gordon for the first time.
Mariel arrived in Melbourne on Monday from Arizona in the US, where she lives, and shared sweet snaps of herself and Brynne, 39, linking up with the little girl.
Starr’s candid pictures appear to be the first pictures of the little tot on social media.

“And it’s worth the 30+ hour drive for that!” Mariel captioned the post alongside the hashtags “Starr” and “Family.”
In a valuable photograph, Mariel stood in Brynne’s kitchen as she rocked little Starr.
Another photo showed a casually dressed Brynne nursing Starr on her lap in a bedroom, while in another shot Brynne and her relatives posed for a snap with a Twinkie in hand. Twinkies are a popular American cake snack.

American-born socialite Brynne welcomed her “miracle baby” on April 21.
She recently told New Idea that she decided to give her little girl the surname Gordon — her maiden name — so she would feel “connected” to her family in the US
Brynne took the Edelsten surname when she married the late Australian businessman Geoffrey Edelsten in 2009, and although she kept the name after their divorce, she didn’t see fit to pass it on to her daughter.

Starr’s father’s identity has not been released; However, Brynne confirmed to the publication that the man had met his daughter twice.
“I haven’t slept well since Starr arrived,” Brynne said of motherhood.
“But I wouldn’t trade being a mom for anything — I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”
The pregnancy was good news for Brynne, who discovered during her high-profile marriage to Geoffrey that she was unlikely ever to conceive naturally.

“I didn’t think I had a maternal instinct,” she told New Idea.
“Even during the pregnancy I couldn’t quite believe it was happening, but as soon as it arrived we bonded and it all felt very natural.”
Brynne announced she was pregnant in December.
Sharing a photo of her ultrasound on Instagram, she wrote, “Miracles do happen AND everyone is another day closer to meeting the love of my life.”
Brynne previously revealed that she planned to raise her baby alone.
