Ivete Sangalo turns almost 50 next Friday the 27th. The Bahian singer will celebrate the date with a live show on TV Globo.
In an interview with TV Globo’s Fantástico, the singer revealed that her son Marcelo Sangalo, the result of her relationship with Daniel Cady, will be starring on the show with his mother.
“It was his concern. ‘Mom, I’m going to play, right?'” he asked in conversation with his mother. “Of course he plays with me,” Ivete replied.
Featuring new and classic songs, the show will take place in Juazeiro, her hometown, near where Ivete bathed in the river. “I’m sure I’ll come to Juazeiro, look at the stars and remember my parents,” Ivete said excitedly.
Ivete even joked that the presentation took place right after the Pantanal soap opera. “I’m leaving Rio naked, this will be the opening of the show. I’m a 50yearold wolf,” she joked.
When she turned 50, she revealed that “it was wonderful.” “This is the consecration of life. I can only live to be 50 because I’m alive,” he said.
