Channel 10 has finally confirmed rumors that this year’s season of The Bachelor will feature not one, but three suitors.
Official confirmation came via The Project on Monday night, with host Osher Gunsberg revealing three men will be on the show looking for love.
Drummer Jed McIntosh will appear on the reality dating show alongside professional basketball player Felix Von Hofe and life coach Thomas Malucelli.
‘We are so excited. We’re making a world first. Nobody in the world has ever had three bachelors, so the way it works, the way everyone gets to know each other is very different this year,” Osher said.
“It’s fascinating. We’ve been around for a while now and it’s just electrifying what we’re seeing already.
“Not only are we going to headquarters to say if we can have three bachelors, we want to do it with no candles and no fairy lights, that’s a meeting we had to get through!”
According to music website Big Sound Percussion, Jed is the drummer for Melbourne-based alternative pop band Mood Monroe.
He began drumming at age four and began playing professionally at age 13.
Jed began touring at the age of 16 and soon found himself in Los Angeles working with a variety of rising stars.

The talented percussionist has also worked with a long list of A-list musicians including Kylie Minogue, Pharrell Williams, T-Pain and Sean Paul.
His band Mood Monroe was featured on triple js Unearthed in 2020, where their music was described as combining “hard-hitting, energetic productions with vulnerable storytelling reminiscent of acts like Imagine Dragons and The Weeknd”.
Jed modestly joked to The Project that he has a lot to prove on the show.
“When you’re standing next to two of Australia’s tallest and best looking guys, I have to get something out of my pocket,” he said Monday.
Not much else is known about Jed at this time, and his Instagram page is set to private, which is required for all Bachelor stars.

On Tuesday, Daily Mail Australia announced basketballer Felix and “transformational coach” Thomas would both appear as suitors on this year’s season of The Bachelor.
Thomas is a former restaurant manager from Sydney who has worked as a fitness and life coach for the past five years.
He told The Project that the most fun thing so far has been getting to know the other bachelors.
“I think we’ll get to know each other a little better. I expect it to come off! he said.
Meanwhile, his competitor Felix – who measures a whopping 198 centimeters – is from Melbourne and plays basketball for the Melbourne Tigers.
Felix told The Project on Monday: “I wanted to come here because I felt like I was born maybe 10 years too late.
“I don’t use the dating apps, I like to talk to people face to face. I enjoy having real one-on-one dates and getting to know each other better than on Instagram.
