Fans are curious about how some of the processes on the Netflix dating show work. Some of them want to know who decides the details of the wedding. For example, are couples free to choose where they meet?

Love Is Blind is a dating reality show that started in 2020. There are two seasons out so far and a third is on the way. The premise is about 15 men and 15 women trying to find love. As a rule, they come from the same area, and the participants have 10 days before the date.

However, no one sees what the other looks like when the couple has a date. They only meet face to face when someone agrees to a marriage proposal. The couple then heads to a resort and has the opportunity to get to know each other better.

Later, the couple moves in together and gets to know the partner’s family members. The wedding takes place about four weeks later. The members decide if they want to marry their partner at the altar. The audience is looking forward to whether they will say “Yes” or not.

By the time the series is released, the stars are already continuing their lives. The studio does not have a mandate to prevent members from sharing tips on social media. Plus, they can use dating apps after filming ends.

Weddings are expensive as people have to pay for food, decorations, dresses, cake and more. Engaged couples spend a lot of time planning every detail to make the event unforgettable. The lovebirds in “Love Is Blind” shared the cost, but the production provides the backbone.

However, participants do not choose every aspect of their wedding. According to Insider, couples can’t choose the venue. Instead, the company chooses a location based on its size. Crew and equipment must be suitable, and COVID-19 restrictions have also reduced the size of weddings.

“They have to choose the 12-15 guests they want,” a spokesperson for the show explained. “And they warn them, because obviously if they’re engaged, most of these people are at least walking down the aisle. Whether they say yes or no, we’ll all find out together, but they want their friends and family to be there. So they have a guest list that they give us.”

Couples can plan other parts of the ceremony

The stars have some control over how their wedding turns out. During weeks of planning, couples tell manufacturers what color scheme they want. Of course, men and women can choose their own tuxedos and dresses. The dress that the bride wears is unique to her.

The contestants also participate in cake testing. They can choose the taste and style, and the menu matches what the couple likes. Even if the couple decides not to get married, they can stay to enjoy the meal.

Also, the wedding may be more in keeping with the participant’s heritage. Manufacturers take into account any cultural or traditional human needs. For example, Jarrett and Iyanna jumped over a broom during the ceremony.

Season 2 recently ended, but filming for season 3 ended along with season 2. Fans don’t have to wait long for new weddings.
