This is the moment a thrill seeker passed out during a ride at an amusement park when he was thrown into the air at 70 miles per hour.
An unidentified man was trying the Panama City Beach Slingshot in Florida when it all became too much for him.
His reaction was captured on the attraction’s camera and posted on TikTok on March 6.
The man, who has not been identified, decided to fight the Panama City Beach slingshot in Florida, a video of the meeting was released on March 6.
However, after screaming, things get too much for the first few seconds and he passes out.
His body goes limp and he spends the next 30 seconds blissfully unaware of what is going on around him.
The video begins with the man looking nervously into the air before the slingshot is suddenly released.
He starts screaming along with his off-screen companion.
But when the ride reaches its climax, he stops screaming, his eyes close, and his body goes limp.
While his companion continues to scream, the unconscious man presents a picture of calmness.
For the next 30 seconds, he sits limply on the ride – at one point it looks like his necklace is about to fall off – before suddenly waking up looking very confused.
His first words in response were “oh shit” before his oblivious friend asked him what was wrong.
The man takes it all in stride, laughing at his companion and shouting at the people watching from below.
At one point, he nearly loses the necklace. Beside him, his friend continues to scream, apparently unaware that the person next to him has passed out.
The man woke up with a jolt, looking confused about what had just happened to him, while his friend asked him what was wrong.
In the end, he seemed to like it, he excitedly shouted to his friends standing on the ground.
The slingshot, also known as the Vomatron, is 200 feet tall and is powered by six giant electric motors.
On its website, the theme park says it’s similar to how NASA trains astronauts for spaceflight as it travels at up to 70 miles per hour while the pod riders sit in a spin, exposing them to up to 4G of force. .
It then spins in the opposite direction at the same speed and intensity, which can cause some people to pass out due to lack of blood flow to the brain.
This is the result of a sudden decrease in blood pressure and heart rate, which is due to the combined rotation and speed.
This is not dangerous as many people pass out for a matter of seconds and wake up again before the end of the trip.
One poor teenager from Mexico City passed out four times in just one trip, but that didn’t stop him from having fun.
Daniel Barron Melendez, who was 15 at the time, passed out several times during a Sling Shot ride with a friend at Six Flags Mexico in 2016.
The footage shows his eyes glaze over and roll back from time to time during the trip, but he recovers before it ends, even making a peace sign on camera.
He later shared the video on Facebook with the caption: “I really had fun, Johana Medellin.”
