The arrival of Friday already makes the carioca look for good events to enjoy the weekend in the city. There are various options until Sunday, such as a show with the Pixote group and a play about Sidney Magal. Not to mention the Viradão Cultural in Madureira.

It’s from Madurai!
To celebrate Madureira’s 409th anniversary, the Viradão neighborhood will host Cultural between 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and 6:00 a.m. on Sunday.
In the outdoor area of the Fernando Torres Arena, in the Parque Madureira, the Crespa Fair will take place this Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with several exhibitors.
In the same place, from 2 p.m., there will be musical performances with Filhos da Águia (Portela Mirim) and Império do Futuro (Império Mirim). At 2:30 p.m., children can enjoy Fuzuêzinho de Aruanda.

Also in the Arena region there is a show for samba fans from 5 p.m. by Projeto Criolice, with DJ Cris Pantoja at intervals. At 19:30 there is the group Afro Agbara Dudu. And from 8 p.m. Fofão da Serrinha, Nina Rosa and guests from the neighborhood.
In the same place, only at 3:30 p.m., the Madureira Network Meeting will take place, with the exhibition of a video about local groups and debates.
On the Praça da Mãe, under the Negrão de Lima viaduct, there will be a meeting tomorrow from 10 p.m. between Jongo de Madureira, Serrinha and Vale do Café. At 11:30 p.m. the Bloco Afro Lemi Ayó will play.
And from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the famous Baile Charme de Madureira takes place, also under Negrão de Lima.

The history of Brazil on stage
The monologue “Fico”, which premieres tomorrow, is dramaturgically based on the Dia do Fico, which celebrated its 200th anniversary in January. The gathering will take place in the Paço Imperial, a place that was the scene of the historical date in 1822.
