Kanye West’s lawyer makes custody a top priority as she seeks to establish a formal arrangement

Kanye West’s lawyer is making custody of him her top priority as she seeks to establish a formal settlement between West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

West, 44, and Kim, 41, do not currently have a formal custody agreement and have been trying to figure it out for themselves, but things have gotten worse between them in recent days and the drama has played out in public.

But now Samantha Spector, West’s attorney, is planning a formal settlement between them. Failing that, Spector is prepared to ask a judge to enforce the ground rules regarding detention and visitation, according to TMZ.

According to TMZ, Kim allowed Kanye to visit her kids when the Stronger rapper is in town and wishes to do so while their kids are not busy. The former has four children: North, eight; Saint, six; Chicago, four; and Psalm, two.

However, establishing a formal custody agreement with Kanye may be difficult due to his frequent travel outside of Los Angeles.

The prospect of reaching a settlement out of court seems unlikely, according to TMZ, given Kanye’s anger over Kim’s new relationship with Pete Davidson and custody issues.

Insiders told TMZ that the exes hardly speak to each other and haven’t spoken in a while. This, of course, makes it difficult to reach an agreement.

Kim and Kanye’s feud over raising their kids continued over the weekend with the rapper criticizing his ex on various issues and Kim shooting back.

According to Us Weekly, Kim is “deeply hurt” by how Kanye’s posts might affect their daughter.

“Kim is deeply hurt by the fact that North might stumble upon Kanye’s messages and that might affect her,” an insider told the site. “She does her best with joint custody, but there are certain things that are difficult to control.”

Kim “hopes” that the relationship between them will improve over time.

“She and Kanye don’t agree on a lot of things, which is very unfortunate, but that’s what she’s dealing with,” the source said. “It’s a daily struggle and she hopes they can become parents amicably soon.”

Over the weekend, Kim responded to Kanye on social media, asking him to “stop with this narration” after he posted a photo of an alien pinned between himself and Kim on North’s backpack.

Kanye, who accused his ex of “parental alienation,” shared a photo of the bag and wrote, “This is what my daughter’s backpack was on when I was ‘allowed’ to see her last week.”

But Kim took offense at the offer, which she held back from letting Kanye see North, responding in her comments, “Please stop this story, you were just here this morning to pick up the kids for school.”

It was a bold and rare move for the Hulu reality star as she finally responded to Kanye for all to see and his 15.5 million Instagram followers.

In Kanye’s original post, he wrote: “It was on my daughter’s backpack when I was ‘permitted’ to see her last week. That’s why I do so much for my family.”

He added, “I am determined to protect my family at all costs. Like the priest of my house. Don’t worry, the Northern God is still alive.

Even Kim’s boyfriend Pete got into drama when he asked Kanye to meet in person to stop the endless attacks on himself and Kim.

The request was made in a text message the comedian sent to Kanye, and the exchange was posted on comedian Dave Sirus’ account on Sunday.

Pete even sent Kanye a selfie he took in bed with Kim.
