“Regarding Oscar night, my sincere wish is that these two intelligent men have a chance to heal, talk about what happened and reconcile,” the actress says in the first minute of the episode, which was posted to Facebook.

“In the current state of the world, we need these two and we all need each other more than ever,” she adds.

Jada Pinkett Smith concludes her show’s introduction: “Until then, Will and I will continue to do what we’ve been doing for 28 years: trying to understand this thing called living together. »

Wednesday’s episode of Red Table Talk focused on alopecia, a condition Jada Pinkett Smith has that Chris Rock poked fun at on the Oscars stage. The actress claims to have received thousands of testimonials from people suffering from alopecia since the incident. Around 147 million people worldwide are living with the disease, she says.

“I’m taking this moment to give people with alopecia the opportunity to speak up about what they’re going through and to let people know what alopecia really is,” she says at the beginning of the 30-minute episode.
