Pippa Middleton goes green at Buckingham Palace

Pippa Middleton looked radiant in a green dress as she joined her parents Carole and Michael Middleton at the Platinum Party on Saturday night.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, 38, stepped out in a lime green dress with ruched detailing at the chest for the star-studded night at Buckingham Palace.

In keeping with her laid-back style, Pippa wore her brunette tresses in loose curls and kept her makeup to a minimum. She completed the ensemble with a few select pieces of jewelry, including a delicate necklace.

Pippa, the mother of Arthur, three, and Grace, one, appeared unaccompanied by her husband James Matthews.

Meanwhile, her mum Carole opted for a crisp cream blazer and wore her hair freshly blow-dried. Michael was usually dapper in a suit and tie.

Although the Middletons aren’t members of the royal family, they managed to snag coveted tickets to the concert celebrating 70 years of Her Majesty’s reign.

The Duchess of Cambridge maintains close ties with her parents, brother, sister and their families, even as her role within the royal family has become more sophisticated.

The Middletons are often silent pillars of support at high-profile moments in Kate Middleton’s life, including the recent carol concert at Westminster Abbey.

It turned out that the royal family showed their support for the Queen, who was celebrating her 70th year on the throne.

While forced to miss due to ongoing health issues, she still managed to steal the show by appearing alongside a computer-generated Paddington Bear in a hilarious skit opening the concert.

The Queen brought down the house when Paddington joined for cream tea.

James Bond made a famous appearance with the Queen at the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony – and now it was the turn of everyone’s favorite Peruvian bear to be filmed alongside the monarch.

The Queen revealed she shares Paddington’s love of jam sandwiches and keeps an emergency supply in her signature handbag.

The film was shown as the star-studded party got underway in the shadow of Buckingham Palace, and the Queen and her furry guest had a novel way to start Act One – by banging the beat of Queens We Will Rock You on Chinese teacups.
