In the next chapters of the novel wetlandfrom TV Globo, Muda (Bella Campos) will talk to Tibério (Guito) about the fight that put the farmer in the hospital after a knife hit by Levi (Leandro Lima). The outsider also opens the game and tells her story to the man who has always been interested in her.
After returning to the farm, Muda helps Tiberius with the wound in his abdomen. The farmer wastes no time in asking if she really likes Levi, with whom she has exchanged a few secret kisses. Muda denies that she has feelings for him. José Leôncio’s (Marcos Palmeira) employee reveals that he wants revenge on the attacker and demands to know his whereabouts.
“Revenge is a path of no return, Tiberius…”, Muda will speak. At this point, she will confess to releasing Levi, leaving the farmer outraged. “I sorted him out so the two of you would never see each other again,” she will explain. “I can feel the lie in your eyes, Muda,” Tiberius replies. Afterwards she admits why she came to the Pantanal. “So… what do you say… what do you say you killed Maria Marruá?” the clerk will ask. “I didn’t kill… but after that I came here”she confesses.
“One more word from you in a Cosigo trust!” the farmer will speak, returning to the subject of her feelings for Levi. “That’s why I didn’t tell you before. You have always been nice to me, Tiberius… And I was afraid to spoil it… You always look at me differently… In a way I wanted to see myself… I wanted to be the person I see in your eyes when you look at me.will justify Muda, who will leave the place shaken by the conversation.
