Show her the money.
Wendy Williams responded to statements from her Wells Fargo bank that she needed a guardian to oversee her affairs by telling Good Morning America Thursday that she “doesn’t want that.”
“They say I need someone to keep my accounts and I don’t want that. I want all my money,” Williams told the ABC morning show during a phone interview.
“I want to see all my money that I have worked hard all my life. All my life,” she continued. “I don’t lie, I don’t cheat, and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hardworking person.”
As Page Six previously reported, Wells Fargo froze the former shock jocket’s accounts after it said she was “incapacitated” in need of custody, which she denied.
“Wendy wants the world to know that she vehemently denies all allegations regarding her mental health and wellbeing,” lawyer Williams LaShawn Thomas said in a statement to Page Six in February.
Thomas claimed that Williams, 57, feels “fine” and “sane” after her former financial adviser Lori Schiller said otherwise, which led to Wells Fargo cutting off access to her millions of dollars.
“I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my whole life,” she told GMA.
Williams doubled down on “GMA”, saying she was “absolutely” sane and accusing the bank of lying about her.
“Well, you know, when people want to control their accounts, they say anything, including something crazy about me,” she said. “I want to spend more time with my family and, you know, work out and wait for reactions to my money situation and Wells Fargo, and they don’t like that.”
The lawsuit was at first public, but closed a few days later after Williams filed a restraining order against the bank.

Despite Williams suffering from complications of Graves’ disease, a reported mental health check and COVID-19 (all during her hiatus), the former radio host has insisted she is in great shape.
“My health is very good. In fact, I had several meetings, ”she shared. “You know, I’m 57 now, but I have the mind and body of a 25 year old.”
Because she feels so young, she also said she would be returning to her daytime talk show, although she was officially replaced by Sherri Shepard.
