Recent SAG Award Winner Hoyon (Squid Game) has joined the cast of the upcoming Apple TV+ thriller Disclaimer and will appear alongside stars Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline. The series, based on the novel by Rene Knight, was created by Alfonso Cuarón, the series’ head writer and director.
In Disclaimer, Blanchett plays Katherine Ravenscroft, a successful and respected television documentary journalist whose work has been built on uncovering the hidden flaws of long-respected institutions. When an intriguing novel written by a widower (Kline) appears on her nightstand, she realizes with horror that she is a key character in a story she hoped is long buried in the past. A story that reveals her deepest secret. A secret that she thought was only hers.
Hoyoung will play Kim. Ambitious, hardworking and eager to please, she knows that working for Katherine Ravenscroft will be her big break.
