Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are “devastated and disappointed” after being found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion.
The couple were found guilty of a year-long conspiracy to evade taxes and defraud community banks out of more than $30 million.
“Both the Chrisleys are devastated and disappointed by the verdict and will be appealing,” their attorney, Steve Friedberg, told People Thursday.
“Julie and Todd are so grateful for the love and support from their family, friends and fans. Both remain strong in their beliefs and will continue the “battle” until confirmed.

A federal jury in Atlanta convicted 53-year-old Todd and 49-year-old Julie of tax evasion and conspiracy to defraud the IRS, and she was convicted of wire fraud and obstruction of justice.
In addition, Chrisley’s accountant, Peter Tarantino, was convicted of conspiring to defraud the IRS and filed two false corporate tax returns on behalf of her film production company.
Their attorney, Steve Friedberg, told People on Thursday: “Both the Chrisleys are devastated and disappointed by the verdict and will be appealing. Julie and Todd are so grateful for the love and support from their family, friends and fans.
