Could there be another child in Adele’s future? A few months ago, the “Easy on Me” singer revealed her interest in having a second child during a stint on The Graham Norton Show. While discussing the postponed dates for her Las Vegas residency, the singer said, “[The shows] are absolutely happening this year…I want a baby next year. I have plans for next year. I have plans! Imagine having to cancel shows because I’m having a baby.” Now it seems Adele’s boyfriend (and maybe fiancé), Rich Paul, has kids on his mind too.
The 40-year-old sports agent is already a father to three, but during an interview with E! News , Paul opened up about the possibility of him and Adele having a child together. “As a young father building a business, it was pretty tough,” Paul said. “But now, as an older father, I look forward to being a different father when I should have more children.”
The sports agent also spoke about how he would do things differently as an older dad, saying he wants to be “a more patient dad”. He added: “You know, I have a daughter who’s in college, so I was a very young father, but now – different age, different time in my life, different position in my life. I’m really looking forward to being an older father.”
Adele now has a 9-year-old son named Angelo James, who was the focus of her latest album 30. In her interview on The Graham Norton Show, the singer expressed her interest in having more children, but also recognized that she needed time to “recharge” after Angelo.
“Like I said, I might like to have more kids,” Adele said, while jokingly adding, “I’m only now feeling like I’ve caught up on my sleep from nine years ago when I had my son, you know, so we’ll see.”
Whether or not the couple decides to have a child, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for them.
