After losing the defamation lawsuit against Johnny Depp, Amber Heard’s lawyers have revealed that the actress does not have the $10 million she needs to pay her ex-husband in compensation. This was reported by Johnny Depp’s lawyer Benjamin Chew, who assured in an interview for the American show Good Morning America that the process was “never about money” but about “restoring” his client’s reputation, which was achieved by winning the So if Amber agrees not to appeal the case, they could reach a settlement agreement by June 24th.

“Not being able to disclose attorney-client conversations, as Depp testified, and as we made clear in our respective financial statements, it was never about money; It was about restoring his reputation and that’s done,” one of Depp’s attorneys, Benjamin Chew, said on Today.
Likewise, the lawyer, who was on the show with his colleague Camille Vasquez, affirmed that they had never seen the protagonist of “Pirates of the Caribbean” happier in “six years”.
