Her boyfriend was homophobically insulted by a group of boys while he was in the toilets of the WhiteMoon nightclub in Piazzale Grande Torino, where rapper Lazza’s concert was taking place on Friday night. Ilenia, 20, responded in kind. And she got a very bad blow in the face that made her fall to the ground and broke her nose. Now the young woman is trying to find her attacker thanks to social media. “I don’t want revenge, but this just can’t happen. On crowded evenings like this, I would have expected more surveillance from the venue operators,” he says.
His appeal went around the internet and there were many spreading the message. “I don’t want to start a witch hunt, I just want to find out who made me so small,” she explains, referring to a photo in which she can be seen with swollen and bruised eyes.
The moment of aggression
It was 3 a.m. when the attack took place. «After the concert I had to go to the toilet, there were three boys with the women. One of them insulted my partner with homophobic adjectives just because he has long hair and slightly feminine features. He told me to drop it, I didn’t care. But I’m a bit of a hothead, and in a sort of spit I answered right away.
In the meantime, two guys from the group have left, including the one who insulted her friend. “The third party came up to me unexpectedly and slapped me in the face. I didn’t pass out, but I saw my partner run after him and rip his shirt. But my attacker was able to free himself despite the bouncer’s intervention.
Ten days forecast
The ambulance stationed in front of the club accompanied the girl to the CTO. “They gave me a 10-day prognosis, but unfortunately I can’t get an eye exam to rule out other damage until the eye is drained.”

The 20-year-old complained to the carabinieri while her partner carefully described the people involved and also colored the clothes, from which an identikit was made. “In any case, I hope to recognize him in the photos of the evening that will be published on social media,” he wrote on Tik Tok.
