In the post on social networks, Sharon Osbourne confirmed that Ozzy Osbourne is doing well after last Monday’s (13) surgery. Fans awaited news after the businesswoman explained last week that the procedure was extremely important for her husband, who has Parkinson’s at 73 and has increasing mobility problems.
The short note says:
“Our family would like to express our gratitude for everyone’s incredible love and support for Ozzy’s surgery! He’s fine, he’s on the mend! Your love means the world to him.”
Though Sharon didn’t give details, American tabloid Page Six learned that Ozzy will undergo surgery to remove and realign pins in his neck and back. A source close to the Osbourne family, who was heard by the media, says the singer will have a “long recovery” after the procedure.
“Ozzy is 73 years old and any kind of surgery as you get older is difficult. This is very important. The neck and back pins placed in his fall in 2019 will be realigned. He was in a lot of pain.”

It was recently announced that Ozzy and Sharon will be returning to live in the family’s English villa in Buckinghamshire. The house will be adapted to offer greater comfort to the singer. A team of nurses will rotate 24 hours a day and live in an annex.
The Parkinson’s diagnosis was revealed in January 2020 during an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America. He did some experimental treatments in Switzerland to try to contain the damage. His second farewell tour with “No More Tours 2” is to take place in 2023.
