In Pantanal, Jove proposes to Juma and travels with his father to take care of the family business

In “Pantanal,” Jove (Jesuita Barbosa) knows that she’ll be more noticed by taking over her father’s business in Brazil than as a pawn in the wake of the farm in the Pantanal. In scenes that will be broadcast from this Wednesday the 15th, Jove and José Leôncio (Marcos Palmeira) do not go out in the wake of Tadeu (José Loreto), José Lucas (Irandhir Santos) and the other passersby as originally planned was.

The son Madeleine (Karine Teles) travels with his father through Brazil to get to know the other countries of the family. Jove has his father’s trust, so much so that he eventually convinces him to bring the internet to the farm, as well as technological equipment to modernize it.

Before the trip, Jove persuades Juma (Alanis Guillen) to return to José Leôncio’s (Marcos Palmeira) farm in scenes that will air from Thursday the 16th. This time he plays it out loud: he asks the girl to marry him, which she accepts. Everyone is happy for his return to the farm, but what is not lacking is a fair deal for this family. While Filó (Dira Paes) talks to Juma about children, José Leôncio reacts sexistically when Jove says they never had sex.

When the farmer looks for Jove to apologize, he finds Juma and tells her that the two quarreled because he didn’t know a simpler way to tell his son that he wanted grandchildren. Juma emphasizes: She is the one who does not want to have children. He then reminds her that her birth was the best thing that ever happened to her parents and leaves her to process those words.

On his journey, Jove will meet Matilde (Mariliz Rodrigues) and Davi (Lucci Ferreira). He will find a possible ally in Matilde, realizing that she is open to anything he has to say. With David, however, he finds conflict. Jove sharply criticizes the way business is done on her father’s farms, particularly in relation to sustainability and concern for nature. After visiting many farms and talking a lot with Davi and Matilde, Jove will share some of his criticisms with his father, which will leave José Leôncio disappointed.
