Amid all the controversy surrounding her after splitting from Gerard Piqué, Shakira is enjoying herself. On her Instagram account, the Colombian has posted a video where she shares Nick Jonas, the American singer she is with on the show Dancing with Myself, showing her a little more about Latin rhythms.
The Barranquilla-born artist told Jonas she wanted to see her salsa dance moves and He asked him to move his body while playing a salsa version of “Blackmail,” a song the Colombian has with Maluma.
In a black suit with flames, Shakira danced salsa with Nick Jonas, who excelled in his moves. She even asked him if he was sure he wasn’t born in Colombia and flattered his dancing.
Shakira announced her split from Barcelona FC’s Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué a few days ago. The confirmation of the end of the relationship came after strong rumors about the athlete’s infidelity.
“We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the sake of our children, who are our top priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding,” read the statement, released by Shakira’s communications agency.
There have been many rumors that are still going on after the couple broke up after having two children in 12 years. Shakira has received the love of millions amid this split, while Piqué is said to have been unfaithful to the Colombian:
“Let’s see Gerard, who in their right mind is giving Shaki horns?”, “Thanks to Shakira, I know of your existence,” “Aha lovely papa, tell us about the gossip to know if we banned you from entering Latam or what”, “How dare you think of betraying your children’s mother?” “Without champions, without a league and without Shakira, my mother Piqué”, “Shakira is too much for you” and “Piqué out, no more waka waka for you bro” are some of the comments left by the footballer on his latest Instagram post.
