Nothing’s first smartphone will officially launch in less than a month. Meanwhile, the company has published on Instagram the first full photo of the phone (1), which visually stands out from the competition thanks to a completely transparent case.

The company Nothing is currently causing a stir by gradually introducing its very first smartphone. The company was founded by Carl Pei, one of the founders of OnePlus, whom he left to pursue his own vision of the smartphone.
The result is called the Telephone (1), and Nothing just released the first full image of it, at least from the back. The device will have a fully transparent back panel, showing metal plates and screws covering the components and wireless charging coil. White lines around the reel and camera would be LEDs that could light up for calls or notifications.
Technical information is already circulating
Even if the manufacturer has not yet revealed the technical data sheet, some information has been leaked. However, they should be taken with caution until the brand is confirmed. The screen would be a 6.55-inch OLED with Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels). The phone (1) would integrate a Snapdragon 778G processor with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. On the camera side, the dual module would have a 50-megapixel main lens and a second 8-megapixel lens with a 32-megapixel front sensor. Finally, Nothing would have included a 4,500mAh battery and 45W fast charging. So it would be a mid-range smartphone.
The device will run on Android, but the manufacturer adds its own touch and now allows you to download the beta version of its application launcher, Nothing Launcher. The company has already released ear (1) wireless headphones, partially transparent and with a fully transparent body. The official launch of the phone (1) is scheduled for July 12 at 5 p.m. (French time).
