On Sunday, police released a video of a woman who allegedly provoked the fatal shooting of a Jamaican immigrant after a fight broke out at a Bronx Dunkin’ Donuts when she cut the line.
Stefan Stewart, 24, was bombed outside a coffee shop on East Gun Hill Road on Friday around 1:30 p.m. after he and a friend got into an argument with a woman over her cutting a line, a police source said Sunday. .
“She’s telling them to back off because they probably have COVID,” the source said.
According to the source, the victim and his friend left the store, but the woman followed them.

She then met a man between the ages of 17 and 25 and confronted Stewart again, police said. Police sources said the man was her boyfriend.

“During this argument, the woman and the suspect mentioned something about acquiring weapons,” the source said. “At this point, the man walks into the building.”
Stuart and his friend then broke up and went their separate ways. Police believe that Stewart was shot shortly after.
According to police, Stewart immigrated from Jamaica in December 2021. He had no criminal record in the city.

On Saturday, a Dunkin’ employee told The Post that Stewart wasn’t even involved in the controversy.
“She was just arguing for no reason. He was just there, that’s all, just listening,” said the employee, who did not wish to be named. “He shot the wrong guy.”
