Joe Biden fell off his bike while riding near his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Friday as he and his wife were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary.
Biden took the solo bike ride — surrounded by agents — near his home in Rehoboth Beach on Saturday morning.
Just before the fall, he greeted reporters with a wave and a “Good morning!”.
The First Lady did not accompany him on the drive, which took place before 9 a.m
The Bidens celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Friday and are spending the June 16 holiday weekend at the beach with first cat, Willlow.
On Friday, the first lady pulled her husband away when he stopped to speak to reporters as they exited the White House.
“We have to go,” said Dr. Biden to the President.
Biden was pressured on his trip to Saudi Arabia and two American ex-service members were captured by Russians while fighting in Ukraine after exiting the White House ahead of his weekend trip.

Jill then stepped in and said, “We’ve got to go,” and pulled him as he responded to shouts from reporters.
“Americans shouldn’t go to Ukraine now. Say it again: Americans shouldn’t go to Ukraine now. You shouldn’t go to Ukraine,” the President said.
He had been asked about reports that two American ex-military personnel aiding the war effort may have been captured by Russians in war-torn Ukraine.
Biden is spending the weekend in Rehoboth Beach amid mounting questions about how he will deal with inflation and with Senate arms package negotiations in limbo after Republican Sen. John Cornyn stormed out of talks Thursday night.
Willow was flying on Marine One in her carrier and was escorted by a servant to the waiting helicopter.

“I’ve been informed we don’t know where they are,” the president said.
He also answers questions about Saudi Arabia.
dr Biden had spent the morning delivering a speech at the National Parent Teacher Association’s 125th anniversary convention, urging more gun control measures, while the president hosted an event on climate change.
The Bidens landed in Rehoboth about an hour after taking off from the South Lawn, disembarked from Marine One and were followed a minute later by an aide carrying Willow in her carrier.
The President and First Lady have chosen to spend most weekends in Delaware — and as the weather has gotten warmer, they’ve been spending more time at their beach house near Cape Henlopen State Park on northern Rehoboth Beach.
Earlier this month, a plane flying in airspace near the Biden residence prompted Secret Service to briefly remove the president from the property.
“A small private plane has entered the restricted airspace, all statements are in error and precautionary measures have been taken,” an official told CNN of the incident. “There was no threat to the President or his family.”
This trip was to mark the First Lady’s 71st birthday.
This time, the President and First Lady have a three-day weekend to enjoy as Biden signed legislation last year to make June 16 — the official end of slavery in the United States — a federal holiday.
On Thursday, the Associated Press published its interview with Biden — his first in print since mid-February.
He said he couldn’t be blamed for 41 years of high inflation.

“Isn’t that interesting? If it’s my fault, why is inflation higher in every other major developed country in the world? is that your question? I’m not trying to be a wise guy,” he told AP White House reporter Josh Boak.

Biden pointed out that under his oversight, the deficit has been reduced and employment has risen — but the Democratic president acknowledged that Americans are paying significantly more to put food on their tables and fuel in their cars, and that he agrees impaired rating.
“If you want a direct barometer of what people around the kitchen table and the dinner table are going to be talking about and whether things are going well, it’s the cost of groceries and the cost of gas at the pump,” he admits.
Blaming high gas prices for the nation’s economic pessimism, he said before prices started to rise, “Things were a lot more, they were a lot more optimistic.”
But while Biden said his message to oil companies is “Don’t just reward yourself,” he has few tools at his disposal to lower prices meaningfully in the short term.
After more than two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, Biden said the American people are “really, really down”.
