Aaron Rodgers was curiously left out of a Green Bay Packers commercial on Monday, revealing that the team will play one game of the 2022 regular season in London.

Rashan Gary, Aaron Jones, Jair Alexander, David Bahitiari and Matt Lafleur were spotted in the photo, which reproduces a photo on the cover of the Beatles for their 1969 recording of “Abbey Road”. Rodgers, whose future with Packers seems to be in question with the start of the free agency around the corner, was not in the picture.

Green Bay is set to play at Tottenham Hotspur in 2022. The team was the last remaining club to play in an NFL international series.

“This is something the league office has been talking about for a long time. We were the last team to play a match internationally,” Packers President / CEO Mark Murphy told the team’s website. “The fans there will really connect well with the Packers’ organization. This is a great opportunity for NFL fans in Europe to get to know the Packers better and are more likely to come to Lambeau for a match in the future.”

Whether Rodgers was a quarterback during that game or the start of the 2022 season is still in question.

According to NFL.com, Packers and Rodgers are working on a deal and “holding discussions.” It is reported that a potential deal will be made in the short term and will make Rodgers the highest paid player in the NFL on an annual basis.

Green Bay will also have to decide whether to re-sign Davante Adams.
