Matt Fitzpatrick leads the way to the back nine at the US Open ahead of a thrilling finale.
Fitzpatrick held part of the lead overnight alongside Will Zatoris and had a steady start to his lap to maintain pole position and win the first Major of his career.
Meanwhile, world No. 1 Scheffler shot up the rankings on the final day to put himself in good position to add another major to his resume.

The American hit four birdies in the front nine and seems to be finding his best form when it counts.
Zulatoris is currently in third place, just two strokes off pace, while Rory McIlroy and John Rahm still have a shot at walking away with the trophy, although their putting needs improvement in the final holes.
There is still a lot to play at the business end of the ladder, but some of the early starters have already completed their final rounds.

Former winner Justin Rose finished the tournament seven over par to tie for 37th place.
Dustin Johnson, playing just a week after giving up his PGA membership, didn’t fare much better, finishing with six over par at Brookline.
A host of other big winners also endured a difficult Sunday, with Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau finishing 49th, 55th and 56th respectively.
