Moment ABC presenter Tony Armstrong is spotted after going MISSING at The Logies

ABC News Breakfast captured the moment Tony Armstrong was spotted after he disappeared following Sunday night’s TV Week Logie Awards.

The sports presenter spent the night partying after winning the Graham Kennedy Logie Award for Favorite New Talent and appeared difficult to track down for an interview on Monday morning.

Queensland-based reporter Michael Rennie was tasked with locating Tony after he failed to show up for his scheduled ABC News Breakfast appearance.

“I’m looking for him, trying to find him. I haven’t been able to find him yet,” Michael told viewers as he stood outside Tony’s hotel.

“We’re checking out the hotel where he’s staying. No sign of him yet. I’ve been on the phone a few times. No Answer! But I’m sure we’re getting closer to Tony. I think we’ll hopefully find him by the end of this hour,’ he added.

After hours of searching for Tony, Michael was finally able to locate him while relaxing outside with famous gardener Costa Georgiadis.

‘I found him, he’s over here!’ Michael explained, walked up to Tony and gave him a handshake.

Tony looked exhausted after a long night of partying, with a messy hairdo, red eyes and a hoarse voice.

The star wore a green hoodie and held onto his Logie statuette.

“A lot of people wanted to get up quickly this morning, but I couldn't get up all the way at 7am. but [I] managed to get up quickly at 8:00 and here we are,” he smiled

“Don’t let him shake you, you’re at the top of your game at the start. Grow beyond that point, much better things to do with your awesome energy and beyond,” one wrote.

Another added: “It’s his award, he won it. He can say whatever he wants. Do not you like it? You win a prize. You can say what you want. Very easily.”
