Wayne and Coleen Rooney enjoy another sun-soaked vacation while awaiting the verdict in the “Wagatha Christie” libel battle.

Just weeks after returning from Dubai, the couple celebrated Father’s Day in Ibiza on Sunday, heading to the city with footballers Alex Bruce and Michael Carrick and their partners.

While Coleen showed off her tan in a leopard print crop top and tiny shorts, the red-faced Wayne looked like he’d been catching the sun.

The couple’s four sons, Kai, 12, Klay, 9, Kit, 6, and Cass, 4, were not seen during the evening.

Instead, Coleen and Wayne were off duty, and the WAG went barefoot while sipping a bottle of beer while chatting with their friends.

Showing off her tanned figure, she dressed for the heat in her cropped top paired with white jean shorts.

The designer fashion fanatic had a Saint Laurent tote bag, which retails for £1,200, slung over her shoulder.

Wayne, meanwhile, wore a baggy white t-shirt paired with light blue shorts, a baseball cap and Givenchy sliders.

The pair were seen chatting with a group of friends including football manager and player Michael Carrick and Macclesfield player Alex Bruce.

Coleen clutched a bottle of beer as the group decided on their next destination, with Wayne later seen talking to a local cab driver before a barefoot Coleen jumped in the car.

The couple recently flew to England from a family holiday in Dubai with their sons and their parents.

They flew out of Manchester last month after skipping the final day of the so-called Wagatha Christie defamation trial against Rebekah Vardy, which was sweeping Britain.

Coleen and Wayne had spent seven days in London’s High Court as she refuted claims she had libeled Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

The mother-of-four had accused Rebekah, 40, of leaking stories about her family to The Sun after embroiling her in an infamous “stabbing operation” on Instagram.

Coleen famously revealed in October 2019 how she had placed fake stories on her personal Instagram account and changed her settings so that the posts could only be seen by Rebekah’s account.

Each of the fake stories then found their way into The Sun newspaper, leading Coleen to believe Rebekah’s account was the source of the leaks.

Coleen had claimed that her actions were a “last resort” after concluding that someone had leaked information about her to The Sun.

She defended herself in court against the defamation lawsuits by insisting that her allegations against Rebekah were true.

Rebekah, in turn, claimed that Coleen’s post, which was published while she was pregnant, cost her a book deal and a placental capsule recommendation, while also acting as a lightning rod for people who berated her on social media.
