Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey admitted Father’s Day will be “tough” in a heartbreaking video with her young children she shared on Instagram on Sunday.
Along with daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, 20 months, the 32-year-old actress revealed she wore her late husband’s T-shirt and believed he would “beam” at us all day.
Wanted star Tom died on March 30 aged 33 after a battle with brain cancer after being diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in October 2020.

She started: “Hi guys. Say hello guys, both of you. We just wanted to jump up and say a huge, huge thank you for all of your messages today. Not us? We want to say thank you.
“Today is going to be a tough day for us as a family but the sun is shining, it’s shining out there, dad isn’t shining on us today.
“I’m wearing his top today because if you guys are having a bad day, just smile and everything will be better.
“And that’s chickenpox on his face, he has smallpox, we’re just going to have a nice day together as a family today.

In her caption, she wrote: “I had an inbox full of beautiful messages before 9am this morning and I can’t tell you how much it helped me to put on my best smile and get up this morning.
“Father’s Day isn’t easy for everyone, but it’s a chance to celebrate all the great dads out there, including Tom, and celebrating him is my favorite thing to do right now.

It comes after Kelsey revealed Aurelia is “very confused” by Tom’s death and believes he is on tour.
She admitted the two-year-old “don’t quite understand that he’s not coming back,” even after he was “really blunt” and told her “he’s dead” while discussing Lorraine.
Kelsey said: “Whenever she sees pictures of her dad, she says, ‘That’s my dad!'” She turns three at the end of the month.

“I’ve been really honest, she still talks about him every day, she doesn’t quite understand that he’s not coming back.
“So I had to be really blunt and say he’s not coming back, that’s it, he’s dead and he’s not coming back because she doesn’t really understand.
‘She’s just really confused by it. She thinks he’s on tour. But then we talk about him every day. She asks me about him every day.

“He wouldn’t want us to be sad. It’s lonely at night, but I have to live my life. We’ve been through so much together. The love I had for him was like no other.
“I find it hard that I can’t write to him or call him to tell him things. I lost the love of my life.”

Kelsey said, “The book was at number one for two weeks. He wanted to make sure it would be a bestseller, and it is. He lived life really fast.
“We lived in the hope that this is how we got through each day. How do you live with this diagnosis? But we tried our best to find the light.’

“I couldn’t even read all the messages I got. I was so lucky to have him as a husband.’
