Moscow, “Unprecedented ban on transit of goods in Lithuania”

(ANSA) — ROME, JUNE 20 — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called Lithuania’s ban on the transit of EU-sanctioned goods to Russia’s Kaliningrad exclave “unprecedented.” This was reported by the Russian state news agency Tass.

“The decision is indeed unprecedented. She’s breaking every possible rule. We understand that it results from the European Union’s decision to extend sanctions to the transit of goods.
