The classic white Vans are personalized with a bold “M” on the heel of each of Malti’s shoes and Jonas’s slogan “MM’s Dad”.

Jonas slips into his role as Malti’s daddy and says that fatherhood changed everything. “The weight of everything is much more intense,” he recently told Variety. “I’m so thankful for [Malti Marie] and the wonderful prospect of being parents.” As he and Chopra are raising their daughter, Jonas says they are teaching Malti to appreciate the best of both their cultures (Chopra was born and raised in India, while Jonas was born in Texas and raised in New Jersey grew up). ). “It is very important to us that our daughter have an upbringing that is representative of our family and the things we love [my wife’s] Indian culture and my American culture,” he revealed.
