David PuenteJournalist and “fatchecker” tried to clear up the curiosities that surfaced during the live broadcast of the event at the Luzniki Stadium in Moscow, where Wladimir Putin spoke of the “denazification” of Ukraine in front of tens of thousands of people at the celebration. However, for days there has been a lot of talk about the two girls being framed at one point: the images that concern them were exactly the same as those of the event at the stadium in 2021.
Puente tried to explain this strange incident: “Russian state television used a trick to avoid surprises: a delay between live recording and transmission. In practice, what is being filmed is broadcast a few minutes later on a live channel. Imagine Putin’s speech, interrupted by a protester, the director has 56 minutes not to broadcast the scene and broadcast another one. It seems that the delay was skipped during the live stream (human error?), in anticipation of Oleg Gazmanov’s concert. Once the latter is over, another will begin, but in between, two scenes from 2022 will air (those of the two girls and beyond).
Someone has hypothesized that at some point a whistle arrived at Putin’s address, forcing the director to implement the strategy: “This segment Puente explained could have been inserted by the director, who is waiting to start another direct with to establish the correct delay. A kind of filler that this time created more problems (conspiracy theories) than solutions. In the rest of the live streaming he commented there are no other curiosities or video clips from previous events, at least for the moment.
