Raiders Free Agency News: Midfielder Mika Kiser signs contract

According to NFL Media, the Las Vegas Raiders have continued their free agent frenzy by signing linebacker Mika Kiser.

Last week, the new Las Vegas mode added 13 players, 11 of whom became free agents and two through trades. Kiser is the sixth defender added to the Raiders. He is the first linebacker added in the offseason.

Kiser finished the 2021 season with the Denver Broncos, so he remains with the AFC West. Kiser, 27, was signed in Denver from the Los Angeles Rams training team. He started two games for Denver and made 19 tackles. He started nine games for the Rams in 2020. He missed the 2019 season due to an injury, and suffered injuries in 2020.

He is also a special teams player who worked with new Las Vegas special teams coach Tom McMahon in Denver. Kiser is probably part of the depth in Las Vegas. He’s joining veteran Denzel Perryman and sophomore Devine Deablo as linebackers for Las Vegas, so they need to add a few more players to the position.

UPDATE:

The Raiders also signed linebacker Kyler Fakrell.

New Las Vegas defensive coordinator Patrick Graham was his coach at Green Bay in 2018 and his Giants defensive coordinator in 2020.

In 2018, under Graham, he had 105 sacks. He started a total of 16 games in those two seasons. He has since had eight sacks in three seasons and 23.5 sacks in six NFL seasons. He started one game for the Chargers in 2021. Expect him to be a role player in Las Vegas,
