Pusha-T has teamed up with Arby’s to release a song about McDonald’s and its Filet-O-Fish sandwich dissing.

Pusha-T got some serious… beef.

The rapper has teamed up with Arby’s to release a short track dissing McDonald’s and one of his favorite sandwiches – the Filet-O-Fish.

The rap supports Arby’s Crispy Fish Sandwich. On the track, Pusha raps:

“I’m the reason the whole world loves it / Now I gotta squash it / Filet-O-Fish sucks and you should be disgusted / How dare you sell a square fish and ask us to make it.” trust / Half a slice of cheese, Mickey D is on a budget?

Arby’s Crispy Fish hits the spot / With snakes around the corner, we might need a guest list / After the exit stage, the sandwiches taste fresh / A little cube of fish from a clown is easy.”

In true Pusha fashion, the rapper caps the verse with a veiled reference to cocaine.

Pusha-T has a long history with McDonald’s. In 2003 he wrote one of the most famous McDonald’s jingles: “I’m Loving It”. However, the rapper does not see it published. In a 2018 interview with Drink Champs, he spoke about the deal, saying he “took a Super-L.” He said:

“Only in advance, no publication. salute to [former music executive] Steve Stoute, he gave me the check and I said ‘Ahhh great’… I want artists to know that part. Keep your release. That check will be nice, but how long has I’m Lovin’ It been on? I did that in ’03. Who knows what it would have been.”

We are sure that Pusha has learned from his mistakes.

Interestingly, there is a rise in rappers collaborating with various fast food franchises. Travis Scott and Saweetie had collaborations with McDonald’s. Megan Thee Stallion has her own sauce at Popeyes while Jack Harlow has teamed up with KFC. Oh, and Nelly did something with Burger King.

Looks like Mary J. Blige is ahead of the curve once again.
