  • Known as Sovrano, the megayacht has been compared to a hybrid between a private yacht and a cruise ship.
  • It has platforms on either side of the main deck, resulting in a beam (width at its widest point) of 108 feet (33 m).
  • These platforms can have helipads or swimming pools, and can be winched up to water level.

The flexible design allows you to place helipads, swimming pools or additional recreation areas on the platforms. These areas can also be winched up to water level for sunbathing or al fresco dining.

Inside there is space for 50 guests in 20 private cabins and cabins for up to 60 crew members to ensure every whim can be catered for.

The large garage accommodates two 49-foot (15-meter) tenders and up to six supercars connected by a lift platform and two cranes.

Lazzarini says the boat owner can choose between electric motors or a hybrid propulsion system that will reach speeds of 18 knots (20.7 mph) or 31 knots (35.6 mph), respectively.

The designers say the concept will suit both the wealthy and the group of owners who want to travel the world privately.

Although a buyer has yet to be found, Lazzarini spokesman Cinzia Ruggieri says: “We estimate a budget of 500 million euros and four years of construction.”

Lazzarini is known for its original design, a new concept that comes just weeks after the firm unveiled plans for a spaceship-style superyacht with a panoramic jacuzzi and a Ferrari-style vessel with a garage for the owner’s prancing horse.
