The look and adventurous route led royal fans to say that Kate was the embodiment of Lara Croft, the character portrayed on screen by Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: Temple of Life.
“The Duchess captures the Lara Croft vibe in this outfit,” said one fan. “It’s some kind of Lara Croft and Indiana Jones energy. Love it,” commented another.

Kate and William, 39, began their action-packed itinerary yesterday – on the third day of their Caribbean tour – with a visit to the Maya archaeological site of Caracol.
They learned about the history of the place, located in the Chikibul forest, and examined the tallest man-made structure in the country, known as the “heavenly palace”.
And when the couple shared a photo of their journey on Instagram, many fans compared the Duchess to the fictional character and protagonist of the Tomb Raider video game franchise, famously played by Angelina Jolie in the 2001 film.
Kate donned a simple white T-shirt and high-waisted G-star Raw khaki cargo pants that retail for £70, while William opted for a shirt, trousers and sturdy boots.
The Duchess also completed her look with a black belt, white Superga sneakers, a simple pair of gold plated hoops from Spells of Love, and completed the ensemble with Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Classic sunglasses, which she paired with her husband.

William and Kate seemed to be laughing and joking with each other and with the guide during the third day of their tour.

Later that day, the couple took part in a jungle survival skills class with the British Army Training Support Unit.
