Tom Hanks surprised the bride during the pre-wedding photo shoot.

The “Forrest Gump” actor approached Grace Gwaltney and her wedding party as they finished snapping some shots at the Fairmont Pittsburgh before heading to her weekend wedding, and her photographer Rachel Rowland captured the amazing moment on camera.

“I would like to say that the photobomb from Tom Hanks was the best part of yesterday, but to be honest, I would be lying. (No offense to GOAT),” Rowland wrote on Instagram.

“Yesterday was filled with joy, laughter, fun, love, family and hugs and I just can’t get enough of Grace and Luke (sic).”

Grace herself was amazed by the unexpected guest and admitted that the newlyweds “all started screaming” when he introduced himself.

She told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: “So we were all walking from the hotel to the limousine, and out of nowhere it pops up and just says, ‘My name is Tom Hanks! Can I take a photo with the bride?”

On location: The 65-year-old star was in town filming A Man Called Otto, and this is the first time he's worked in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania since his 2019 Mister Rogers biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

“His wife Rita [Wilson]I was there and took some pictures.

Last week, he also surprised a local mother when trucks showed up at her house for early morning filming.

Mom-of-five Ashley Glass told the Post-Gazette how Hanks spotted her at the window with her two-year-old son Charles and came over to say hello.

She added, “I was like, ‘Oh my God, he’s coming over here!’

“I hurried up and took my phone. He came up and talked to us. I was amazed. I didn’t even know what to say.”
