It was shot by celebrity photographer Matt Porteous, who accompanies them throughout their eight-day Caribbean trip, which already has a full PR team and social media manager.

A Kensington Palace spokesman said he was there at the request of a couple who paid for it privately.

The video was filmed on a Sunday afternoon in South Water Cay right above the famous Belize Barrier Reed.

The couple were apparently invited by the Belizean government to highlight conservation efforts and were hosted by diving instructor Captain Edward “Sauce” Betancourt and his daughter Marisha.

A royal source said that despite the glossy nature of the video, the couple were keen to highlight the protection of Belize, which has the second largest barrier reef in the world.

A palace source said they “had a great time” and were delighted to see the nurse sharks. Mr. Porteous is known for his underwater photography.
