Kate Middleton stuns in a tailored Roksanda dress as she arrives in Jamaica

The Duchess of Cambridge proved her fashion prowess once again when she arrived in Jamaica with her husband Prince William.

Kate, 40, donned a tailored Roksanda dress in the yellow of the Jamaican flag as she landed in the countryside alongside the Duke of Cambridge, 39.

Featuring a wrap bodice and billowing skirt, the tailored piece appears to have been inspired by the designer label’s £1,095 Brigitte Marigold midi dress. Kate’s was designed with short sleeves, but a sleeveless version is available.

The mother-of-three once again showed her love for diplomatic attire with the yellow garment, pairing the statement piece with white Aquazzura heels with gold stripe cutouts.

Looking effortlessly elegant, Kate wore her hair in a ponytail and added a touch of sparkle to her outfit with a pair of dazzling gold earrings and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.

Heading to Jamaica from Belize today, the Queen wore a red vintage Yves Saint Laurent jacket that she bought while studying at the University of St Andrews, where she met Prince William two decades ago.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Jamaica hours after a demonstration against their presence in the country.

The couple received a full ceremonial arrival at Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport as they embarked on a three-day tour of the country to celebrate the Queen’s historic platinum jubilee

They were greeted by a host of dignitaries including Lisa Hanna, former Miss World 1993 who is now a People’s National Party politician and is calling for a referendum to abolish the monarchy.

Their arrival came as up to 100 people demonstrated outside the British High Commission in Kingston over having a British head of state and the question of Britain’s historic role in slavery.

A royal aide said the Duke and Duchess were “aware of the protest”.

It is understood that William will publicly address the issue of slavery in a keynote address he will deliver at a dinner hosted by the Governor-General, the Queen’s official representative on the island.

The Queen last visited Jamaica, her fourth largest kingdom, in 2002.

Their arrival comes as Kensington Palace released an extraordinary “vacation style” video of the couple scuba diving in Belize on Sunday afternoon.

It shows William and Kate in full scuba gear swimming with a meter-long nurse shark.

It was shot by celebrity photographer Matt Porteous, who accompanies her throughout her eight-day Caribbean trip, which already includes a full PR team and social media manager.

A Kensington Palace spokesman said he was there at the request of the couple, who paid for him privately.

The video was filmed in South Water Caye just above the famous Belize Barrier Reed on Sunday afternoon.

Apparently invited by the Belize government to highlight conservation efforts, the pair were received by dive instructor Captain Edward ‘Gravy’ Betancourt and his daughter Marisha.

A royal source said that despite the glossy nature of the video, the pair were keen to highlight conservation in Belize, which has the second largest barrier reef in the world.

A palace source said they had a “brilliant time” and were delighted to see nurse sharks. Mr. Porteous is known for his underwater photography.
