The Russian oligarch’s super yacht Roman AbramovichMy Solaris, was greeted by Protests by young Ukrainian seafarers when trying to dock Bodrum in Turkey. My Solaris, which is approx 600 million dollarswas greeted at the port of Bodrum by young protesters who were on a small dinghy waving Ukrainian flags. The youngsters are part of a junior sailing team that was in Turkey to take part in an annual competition and left Ukraine before the Russian invasion. “We had to do something. We want the world to know that Ukraine wants freedom and peace,” coach Paulo Donstov told the BBC. The dinghy was then escorted by Turkish police. Surveillance data shows My Solaris has reached Turkey, where there are no sanctions against Russian billionaires, without entering the territorial waters of EU member Greece.
