On Friday, March 25, at 5 p.m., in St. Peter’s Basilica, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary: a gesture of hope and peace desired by the Pope, who asked all the bishops of the world to ideally join to him in prayer against the horrors of war.

At the same time, following the spirit of the celebration, the Archdiocese of Milan, together with the Holy Father, is proposing a communal moment of reflection and invocation of peace, presided over by Archbishop Mario Delpini in the Duomo. The prayer begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. The event can be followed live on www.chiesadimilano.it and on the diocesan YouTube channel.

The moment of prayer is followed by the Chapter Mass at 5:30 p.m.
