“Today I have mixed feelings, I’m HAPPY and SAD!!!! It is ironic that on a day like today, March 20th, as we celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary, I hear you tell the WORLD that you are retiring from MUSIC, which has been your passion for the past three decades was,” González wrote alongside the “Big Boss” video announcing his retirement.

“Soon it will be your turn to say goodbye to the stage, you have enjoyed Daddy Yankee for so long but now it is Raymond Ayala’s turn to enjoy what he has built. In his message, he also took the opportunity to congratulate the performer of “What Happens Happens” on their 27th wedding anniversary.

“Today I officially announce my retirement from music by giving you my best production and concert tour. I say goodbye to those 32 years of experience with this collectible titled Legendaddy. I’m going to give you all the styles that have shaped me in one album. ‘Legendaddy’ fights, celebrates, is war, romance…” said the metropolitan interpreter in the approximately three-minute video, in which he sits on a surface with the Puerto Rican flag.

“I go with the biggest thanks to my audience, to my colleagues, to all the producers, radio, press, television, digital platforms, and to you, especially you who have been there from the underground, from the roots, from the start by reggaeton.
