Hank Williams Jr’s wife Mary Jane Thomas dies at 58 from complications from ‘medical procedure’

Hank Williams Jr.’s wife Mary Jane Thomas has died at the age of 58 after she was rushed from a luxury hotel and spa to the hospital due to complications from a “medical procedure”.

  • Jupiter County Police responded to a medical call at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
  • Mary Jane was reportedly taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
  • At present, her death does not seem suspicious.
  • Hank and Mary have been married for 31 years and have a son named Samuel. Their daughter Katherine died in a car accident in Tennessee in 2020.

Hank Williams Jr.’s wife Mary Jane died of complications “after a medical procedure” performed in Florida. She was 58 years old.

Jupiter County Police responded to a medical call at Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

According to TMZ, Mary Jane was then taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. The site added that she may have died due to a “blood clot”.

At the moment, her death does not seem suspicious.

Williams, 72, was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and is best known for All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight, a version of which has been played on Monday Night Football for over 20 years.

Hank and Mary first met in 1985 at one of his Washington State shows and married in 1990. They had two children: daughter Katherine Williams-Dunning and son Samuel Williams.

Katherine died in a car accident in Tennessee in 2020 when she lost control of the SUV she was driving. Her husband, Tyler Dunning, was in the car and survived the accident with severe injuries.
