A traveler’s “gross” act on a packed flight is exposed in a shocking image of an angry passenger – but here’s why HE’s the one being snubbed
- A shocked Australian traveler took to Twitter to show a rude passenger on his flight
- It showed a woman with her feet on another passenger’s headrest
- Many Twitter users agreed with him, but some thought he was wrong
A man was left stunned by a passenger on his flight from Melbourne to Adelaide when she placed her feet on the passenger’s headrest in front of him, sparking a mixed reaction online.
He was on board a Qantas/Emirates codeshare flight when he spotted the relaxed woman posting her picture on Twitter with the caption “The person next to me on my flight”.
The image shows the woman in a pair of heavy brown boots, supporting her feet on the headrest of the seat in front of her – just inches from another passenger’s head.
While many agreed the woman’s actions were rude, some instead turned against the man who took the picture – saying she may have an “illness”.

Some Twitter users said they didn’t see the problem with the woman’s actions
“Did you say anything or just take a picture for Twitter?” wrote one user.
“Is she really harming anyone?” said another.
While a third commented: “If she doesn’t touch the guy in front of her I don’t see the problem.”
One woman claimed she may have had an illness that “required her to put her legs up when she was flying.”
However, most users still agreed with the passenger, calling the woman’s actions “evil” and “appalling.”
“Worrying inconsiderateness towards others,” wrote one user.
“Oh my god this is so nasty,” wrote another.
Others, however, lashed out at the woman’s actions, calling her “evil” and branding her ruthless
Many were also shocked that the man in front didn’t complain, to which the passenger replied that he slept the entire flight.
A disturbing vision surfaced last month when a person on another interstate flight pressed their bare foot into another passenger’s personal space.
In the Instagram video, the barefoot passenger could be seen sticking his foot through the gap between the side of the plane and the seats in front of him during another flight from Melbourne to Adelaide in May.

“Your worst nightmare,” added a third.
